Dear System Facilities:

I have been screen printing for over 24 years and started with hand cut stencils and was thrilled when I started to use Litho film positives. My production time decreased dramatically and my costs were lowered when PMT film came along, but one year ago I was convinced that it would never get any better when I found your product, NewsCraft LGN.

Besides reducing my cost-per-shot from nearly $4.00, with labor, to less than 50 cents, going from my MacIntosh computer to a Hewlett-Packard 4MV laser printer has saved me time, improved the halftones that we can hold, given me sharper edges on the final product and let the artist have final control over the appropriate size of the final image.

I have totally eliminated my darkroom with all of its nasty chemicals. I now use Ulano CDF-QT30 and CDF-QT50 emulsions on 110 and 156 mesh screens with an exposure from 24 inches for 2 minutes and 45 seconds with a Metal Halide lamp (parking lot light fixture).

I have tried four other vellum papers and one frosted film before finding NewsCraft LGN. The film and LGN were the only two that did not need an increased exposure time but the film cost more than three times as much.

I have made sharper screens with finer detail than I ever did with PMT film. NewsCraft LGN has improved the efficiency of our operation, the quality of our product, and our profitability.
