Imaging Paper System Facilities has developed
NewsCraft LGN imaging paper for making positive and negative images
and color separations directly from a laser printer for use in exposing
screens. A specially coated vellum paper, LGN is dimensionally stable under the
heat and pressure of laser printing while offering excellent toner adhesion. It
is available in letter, legal, broadsheet, tab, and European sizes as well as
special order sizes.

Imaging Paper NewsCraft LGN imaging paper makes
four-page tab and four-color separations possible without camera negatives.
Screen and plates can be created directly from a laser printer, reducing
production costs while maintaining high-resolution quality. LGN, a modified
vellum paper, has been treated to make it dimensionally stable under the heat
and pressure of laser printing, while still offering superior toner
adhesion. No special computer software or unique plate-making
equipment is required when using the paper. Excellent results can be achieved
simply by reducing plate exposure time while exposing screens normally. LGN is
available in letter, legal, tabloid, A3, A4, and oversize sheets, as well as in
special-order sizes.
